Dual Degree Programs
Our department runs a dual degree program with the Department of Economics of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive, in addition to the Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Galatasaray University, the Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
Since the curriculum of the Galatasaray University Economics program is fully aligned with that of the Sorbonne Economics program, there is no need to take additional courses.
In order to qualify for the diploma, students must pass the oral examination held at the end of the sixth semester and demonstrate French language proficiency at the C1 level.
Within the framework of this program, 8 faculty members from the Department of Economics of Sorbonne University visit our department each year and each teach twelve hours of classes.
